We were visiting relatives in Mission Viejo and had a Groupon offer for transmission oil and filter change. It was a good deal compared to Honda of the Desert. Half price. So we call and make an appointment and informed them we have a Plugin Hybrid EV. Not a problem. We arrived and about an hour later we were told, "oops they didn't have the proper equipment.". Wasted an afternoon and we had to drive back to the Desert in rush hour traffic. Thankfully, Groupon refunded the money immediately. The people were pleasant but they demonstrate the ineptness too often found in these locals. Customer service should be a matter of pride.
I have been bringing my vehicles here for service for 10+ years; i have witnessed the steady expansion of services, and their growth. I have always been treated with respect. The Owner Kevin, hosts Girl in The Garage on Hallmark, and he nor his Technicians take advantage of their female clients; they will give you the list of items which should be addressed, and give you a recommended or approximate time line of priorities ... so you can see what you can afford at the time without damaging the next ticket item. They also have loaner vehicles, should you need one. I will always highly recommend Mission Viejo Transmission.
The second time they’ve saved me! I was driving up from San Diego and the trans was slipping. I called at 4:30 when I was 40’min away and asked if they could check it out. Without heisting they said yes. Not only did they find the simple problem and fix it, they checked out the rest of the car for me. After 5pm on a Friday. These guys are the best! Fair and honest!
