3 weeks ago they lost my truck floor mat. The female manager keeps saying she'll look into it and call me back. I call twice a week and she never returns my call. She is also running a cash only car wash system to avoid showing it on paper and will tell you to not tell the people inside so you get a lower price. Best part, she pockets the cash and does not give any to the people doing the washing.
I have been going there for years, their work quality has slowly been on the decline. All came to a head today. I took my car to be washed. When they were done, I pointed out the front end and parts of the bumper were still dirty. Another worker came over, looked at the car then walked to a basket collected a towel and spray bottle. I told him I did not want it being sprayed and the dirt moved around possibly scratching my car. I told him I would like it washed again. He took it back to be washed again. Shortly later, I saw him speaking with a female who in turn walked over to me (I failed to get her name). She told me she had to look at the car in order to see what was wrong, and chances are it was a bad wax job, already trying to blame something else. We walked over, looked at it and said she would take care of it. Instead of running it through the wash again, she drove it to the drying area, went to a basket and grabbed spray wax (written on the bottle) and a towel. I walked over to her and told her I did not want that done. I also said, if she is not going to run it through the wash again, I want a refund. She said she would not give me a refund, stating they already put work into it (although not good work). She then stated she has been doing this for a long time and to just let her do her job. I told her I did not want wax on my car because it was ceramic coated. She replied while rolling her eyes, “really from the dealership?” Customer service, quality of work and common courtesy is not utilized at the car wash, unless things change, I would definitely not recommend.
After 15 years of patronage I will never return to this car wash. The young lady who is in charge of the outside operations is one of the rudest most unprofessional individual I've encountered for decades. I attempted to reason with her over her upcharging me for a simple car wash. She dismissed anything I said. Much more could be shared but let me just say... when I said that maybe I should go to another carwash...she said "well maybe you should". In the end, it's a freaking car wash. It isn't that hard to find another car wash!
The manager of this car wash was very rude. She was screaming to the workers in a supposed meeting at 4:35pm. I asked her if the car wash was open since they usually accept cars until 4:45 pm, but with the same attitude that she was having towards her employees, she started to yell at me. I reminded her that I was a client, but she didn't care and proceeded to keep yelling at me. Very rude manager that hopefully can take some angry management classes because she doesn't care or even respect her customers.
Do not support this small business. The female manager is awfully rude to her customers. They accept Groupon, but will charge you an extra $5 for no reason whatsoever. I drive a station wagon and she charged me extra as she feels it’s an SUV. There are several, more affordable car washes I’ll be taking my car to in the future.
Beyond their size, small businesses are defined by their spirit. And at the helm are their intrepid founders—scrappy, ambitious, and resilient. They invent and build things despite uncertainty, because it’s what drives them. Their risks lead to innovation that moves the world forward. And we need them.
